Who is Patrick Michael Ramsey?

Patrick Michael Ramsey was born on March 9, 2001. From the time he was a young child all he wanted to do was to "go to school," perform, sing, dance and make people smile. His earliest teachers at the Montessori School referred to him as “a character.” He was forever making the children and the staff smile. He was full of compassion and had an unrelenting love for the theater and his music. By the time Patrick was in the 5th grade he had composed several piano compositions and was the youngest member to have his work showcased at a community event.

He was born in Trenton, NJ, to parents Robert Ramsey, Esq., and Kelley McGlone-Ramsey, Esq., and was the fourth of 5 brothers. He was a lifelong resident of Lawrenceville., N.J. Patrick attended The Montessori School, Chapin School, Lawrence High School, Rowan University and most recently Rider University. He was a member of the Church of St. Ann's.

He was gifted in acting and theatrical arts, starring in many stage productions even as a young child. He also received extensive training at the Actor's Studio in Princeton, New Jersey. From his earliest years, he was passionate about music. He was a composer and lyricist. By the time he was in his early teens, he was actively working with music producers in Philadelphia, writing, composing and recording his original compositions which drew many millions of views on social media sites. He was a rising star.

Unfortunately, Patrick also, like so many youngsters, began to experiment with drugs. He got hooked. He hated it, and he fought hard to overcome his addictions. It was a fight he couldn’t win. He ultimately lost the battle on February 26, 2021 at the age of 19.

Patrick's friendly personality, warm smile and gentle nature made him beloved by all who knew him. It is in concert with his kind heart, warm spirit, bright smile and his passion for the fine arts that this foundation was established to aid aspiring young thespians, musicians and fine arts students to help fulfill their dreams by offering scholarships to those who otherwise would not have the opportunity to attend college.
